Standards of Practice for Art Research Activities at Tokyo University of the Arts

　The overarching goal of Tokyo University of the Arts(TUA) is to play a pivotal role in developing art culture while respecting the spirit of freedom and creativity that has existed since TUA was founded. Art research activities conducted by the constituents of TUA are entrusted by society and the results of these research activities must be widely shared with people and returned to the society. As an essential requirement for upholding the principle of freedom in art research activities, constituents of TUA must exercise rigorous self-discipline and strive to eliminate any dishonest practice that undermines the abovementioned trust and/or seriously obstructs the progress of research activities.
